Facility in Houston, TX seeking GI locums coverage Rates: $3,000/24 hours with 4 hour gratis, $450/hr callback Availability Requirements: * Week 1 Schedule: * Aug 5-9 * Aug 19-23 * Sept 2-6 * Sept 16-20 * Sept 30-Oct 4 * Oct 14-18 * Oct 28-Nov 1 * Nov 11-15 * Nov 25-29 * Dec 9-13 * Dec 23-27 * Week 2 Schedule: * Aug 1-2 * Aug 12-16 * Aug 26-30 * Sept 9-13 * Sept 23-27 * Oct 7-11 * Oct 21-25 * Nov 4-8 * Nov 18-22 * Dec 2-6 * Dec 16-20 * Dec 30-31 * Group Call Weekends: * Aug 2, 9, 23 * Sept 6, 20 * Oct 4, 18 * Nov 1, 15, 29 * Dec 13, 27 Night Call: * Monday - Thursday Assignment: * Responsibilities: * Work 5 days per week and every other weekend hospital rounding. * General Gastroenterology Inpatient and Outpatient services performing GI-related procedures such as EGD, Colonoscopy with biopsy and cautery. * Shift times: Weekdays: Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM-12 PM. * Weekend call will be Friday 12 PM to the following Monday at 8 AM. If Monday is a holiday, call extends to Tuesday at 8 AM. * Setting: Suburban Details: * Duties: General Gastroenterology Inpatient and Outpatient Service * Required Procedures: EGD, Colonoscopy with biopsy, cautery * EMR: Epic * Patients per Day: 20 in clinic, 4 to 10 inpatient * Support Staff: MA/LVN, Office Assistant, Practice Manager * Reason for Coverage: GI provider on FMLA * Deal Breakers: Unwilling to provide all services requested. Additional Information: * Typical Cases: Outpatient and inpatient general gastroenterology * Surgeons Supported: 2 general surgeons * Additional APP: 1 APP (outpatient clinic only Monday through Friday) * Hospital Volume: Between 4 and 10 inpatients * Follow-up on Patients: GI physician will follow patients in the hospital until discharged. * Call Details: Saturday and Sunday rounding for either hospital on-call coverage or weekend clinic coverage. Current providers alternate weekend clinic coverage. Average callback hours can be provided upon request.
