Specialty : Radiology - Musculoskeletal Start date : ASAP ; End date : Ongoing Coverage type: Call + Clinic SCHEDULE : * Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm JOB DESCRIPTION : * The candidate will join a growing Radiology Department of over 50 subspecialized radiologists supporting clinical services. * Candidates must be Board Certified in Radiology and fellowship-trained in Musculoskeletal Radiology (MSK) * Exhibit strong clinical skills to work effectively and efficiently across the full spectrum of imaging modalities/procedures relevant to MSK imaging. * This is an on-site position with participation in interventional procedures including MRI, CT, joint injection/aspiration, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue/bone biopsy * Practice setting is hospital-based * 2 Types of Call: Weekday 4pm-11pm call from home (only with no day shifts on those days) about on average once a week. Also, weekend call about 7 calls per year. * Intermittent evening shift and weekend call duties are fulfilled remotely from home with fully functional PACS/Voice recognition systems. * Average Number of Cases Per Day: Mix plain film and cross sectional. 110 xrays, 20 MRIs/CT/Ultrasound * Trauma Level/Designation: Loyola = Trauma 1, MNH and GMH = Trauma 2 * Number of Radiologists in Practice: Specific to MSK is 4.8 FTEs, in department 41 FTE * Teleradiology is not used for MSK * Patient Age Demographic: All ages, but pediatrics not required * There are opportunities for clinical and translational research if interested. * EMR: Epic, Powerscribe 360, Interad PACs, Softek Illuminate SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS : * Board Certified in Radiology - REQUIRED * Fellowship-Trained in MSK Radiology - REQUIRED * Active IL license or already in process - Required * BLS - REQUIRED
