RN Supervisor Full Time 3p-11p STARTING RATE: $36.00 (paying $36.00 - $38.00 per hour, depending on experience) SIGN-ON BONUS: up to $7,500 SHIFT: Full-Time BENEFITS: * Weekly Paychecks * Same-Day Pay Options * Health, Dental, Life Insurance * Shift Differentials * Weekend Pick-Up Shift Enhancements * Referral Bonus up to $500/referral * Tuition Assistance * No-Frills Pay Options * Retirement/Pension/401k (adjust as appropriate) * Clinically Complex Positions * Flexible Schedules JOB DESCRIPTION: A RN Supervisor is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day clinical activities of health care personnel, such as LPNs and CNAs, while maintaining a safe environment for residents and striving to meet maximum security and comfort needs. Able to interpret patient information. Make critical decisions about necessary actions, as well as administer medication, wound care and other personalized interventions. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans * Prepares and administers and records prescribed medications * Records patients' medical information and vital signs * Assesses the patients' ability to do routine daily tasks * Recognizes and manages geriatric syndromes common to older adults, including: cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary, hematological, musculoskeletal, endocrine, neurological, psychiatric/psychosocial, integumentary, sensory and pain problems * Prepares equipment and aids physician during examination and treatment of patient * Communicate with family members regarding patient * Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms * Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on assignment setting REQUIREMENTS: * New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure * Experience in long-term care facility preferred * Able to interpret patient information and make critical decisions about necessary actions * Ability to supervise and work well with and show respect toward other health care personnel (i.e., CNAs, LPNs, physicians, etc.), residents and their family members * Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to follow written and verbal instructions * Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness and kindness * Physical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds APPLY ONLINE OR SEND YOUR RESUME TO: Autumn View Health Care Facility Attn: Tammy Nellist, HR Director 4650 Southwestern Blvd. Hamburg, NY 14075 TEXT: 716-319-7831 for more information ABOUT US: The McGuire Group is a portfolio of six health care facilities in New York state, including: Autumn View Health Care Facility in Hamburg; Brookhaven Health Care Facility in East Patchogue; Garden Gate Health Care Facility in Cheektowaga; Harris Hill Nursing Facility in Williamsville; Northgate Health Care Facility in North Tonawanda and Seneca Health Care Center in West Seneca.
