Assistant/Associate Professor of Internal Medicine

The Robert Larner MD College of Medicine at the University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Medical Center are seeking an outstanding clinician-educator for our academic general internal medicine group in the Department of Medicine. This position will be 100% FTE at the Assistant or Associate Professor level on the Clinical Scholar (non-tenure) pathway. This position includes opportunity to be the physician site leader. The successful candidate will:
- Deliver high value primary care in a patient-centered medical home setting
- Teach, evaluate and mentor medical students and resident physicians
- Participate in divisional and departmental efforts to improve care delivery and medical education
- Have leadership experience in directing outpatient teams
Qualifications include an MD or DO degree, board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, a commitment to a career in academic general internal medicine, excellent communication skills, record of engagement in teaching and service.
