BC/BE Critical Care/ACS Surgeon. Successful candidates will be expected to support and expand the emergency general surgery and surgical ICU programs. They will also participate in performance improvement activities and the education of rotating residents and students. The division currently includes four physicians and four nurse practitioners that provide a broad array of clinical services while caring for critically ill patients and emergency general surgery patients. The nurse practitioners provide support on the floor and in critical care units. Applicants with fellowship training in acute care surgery and/or surgical critical care will be preferred. Cardiovascular Intensive Care unit and ECMO experience is desirable but not required.
