Description Specialization: Internal Medicine Family Medicine without OB Job Summary: Recruiting for a multispecialty group located in Richmond, Virginia, seeking a primary care physician (family practice or general internal medicine) to join our growing practice. We are a physician owned group of eight physicians; two family practice physicians and six internal medicine physicians. Qualified Candidates: * Must be board eligible or board certified in their specialty * Virginia licensure or ability to obtain * Must have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, physicians and administration Some general facts about office and practice: * Outpatient practice only * Call schedule about 1:8 averaging two days a month and 1:8 weekends * On site lab owned and operated by our group * Our current office hours are Monday Friday 7:30 a.m. 4:45 p.m. * Mostly suburban middle class patient mix * Excellent lifestyle and above average compensation for region Benefits: * Medical, dental, and vision benefits available; with HSA, and 401(k) options. * Company paid short- and long-term disability, as well as group term life insurance. * Up to 5% employer paid 401(k) contribution annually * Paid vacation, CME, malpractice, and bonus potential About Henrico Doctors Hospital: * 340-bed community hospital * 24 ICU beds with a mix of 12 bed/SICU and 12 bed/MICU * 24/7 adult and dedicated ER * Level II Trauma Center * Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute * The Women s Hospital, featuring a completely renovated women s health facility delivers more babies than any other hospital in Central Virginia * Virginia Institute of Robotic Surgery Center * The Heart Center * Primary Stroke Center * Virginia Renal Transplant Center Community: Richmond is a wonderful place to practice medicine and raise a family.
