Production Assembler

Currently, we're recruiting production assemblers for a reputable local company in the Shakopee area. The ideal candidate should possess mechanical aptitude and feel at ease working with various hand and power tools.

Location: Shakopee, MN

Wage: $18 - $21/hr.

Hours: 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday

Duties of the production assembler:

• Interpret engineering drawings to determine material requirements
• Assemble parts using bolts, glue, screws, or other fastening methods
• Operate machinery for production assembly tasks
• Conduct quality tests on assembled parts
• Measure, cut, and fasten plumbing materials
• Assist in preparing systems and equipment for shipment

Requirements of the production assembler:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One to three years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to measure quickly and accurately to 1/16th of an inch
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings or blueprints
• Experience and confidence in using hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs
