About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Vice President to join our Specialty Finance team, focused on collaborating with financial asset originators, aggregators, and innovators. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned banking professional with a robust credit background, specifically in evaluating asset-backed transactions.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Underwriting asset-backed financing opportunities
• Presenting transactions to the management board and investment committee
• Collaborating with diverse internal teams to ensure smooth completion of bank processes
• Managing reporting requirements and coordinating fundings

This role requires flexibility to work across various time zones, including the East Coast, West Coast, and European regions. Candidates should possess:

• 3-10 years of experience in credit, structured products, or ABS/MBS
• A focus on underwriting transactions to achieve zero loss scenarios
• Experience in residential, fix & flip/construction, and/or consumer loans

We seek a self-starter capable of working independently as well as part of a cohesive team. You should excel in drafting comprehensive investment committee memos and building detailed financial models. This position demands a professional who is detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks while coordinating effectively with colleagues across various geographical locations and time zones.
