Job Title: Mechanical Assembler Job Description Join a team that designs and manufactures conveyor systems to keep consumer packaged goods moving in ways that are faster, more reliable, and more efficient. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a crucial role in assembling components and subassemblies to create high-quality conveyor systems. Responsibilities Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Position parts and subassemblies by following assembly instructions and drawings. Assemble components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies. Verify specifications by measuring completed conveyor sections. Keep equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance procedures. Essential Skills Mechanical assembly experience. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to read and interpret a tape measure. Experience with hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, battery and pneumatic operated tools. Ability to retain information regarding standard assembly/disassembly procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in mechanical assembly or interpreting blueprints is preferred. Ability to work 1st shift and occasional overtime as needed. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
