The TPM provides oversight of the most important efforts that require coordinated technical execution across the Org in order to succeed. AI / ML continues to be our top focus. These large-scale efforts will involve collaboration across numerous product and platform engineering teams & xfn stakeholders, prioritization, decision making, tracking execution & driving operational excellence. We’re looking for someone that can work in a TPM greenspace environment, and is passionate about people, technology, and program management. Progress over process is our mantra. This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.What you'll do at Figma:As a Technical Program Manager, you’ll work closely with our AI Experiences and ML Platform team in driving the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI features and ML platforms. You will collaborate closely with xfn teams including engineering, data science, and product management to define and execute the roadmap for our AI initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of AI capabilities into Figma's platform, managing end-to-end project lifecycles, from initial concept through to production deployment. Your responsibilities will include coordinating large-scale experiments, optimizing model performance, oversight on vendor contract management and ensuring robust and scalable AI solutions. As a key member of the team, you will also be instrumental in driving innovation, establishing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in AI and ML at Figma.We’d love to hear from you if you have:Taken large-scale AI / ML programs from 0 to 1.Deep technical understanding of machine learning algorithms, model training and launching AI experiences. 4+ years of technical program management experienceAbility to find the balance between driving in a scrappy manner vs structured program management. Getting results! Expertise in organizing and driving complex initiatives like multi-team product launches and multi-quarter platform migrationsExperience operating in ambiguity, shepherding product, process, and/or engineering programs from concept to completionThe ability to form close, effective stakeholder relationships and manage competing priorities and incentivesWhile it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:Vendor management experience for high quality data and annotations for ML modelsStrong bias to action, self-motivation and curiosity, with desire to bring people together and deliver high quality results in the constantly evolving growth and excitement of a start-up cultureExperience building and maintaining automated project dashboards (Coda, Asana, Hex, Datadog) and integrationsFamiliarity with a modern scaled web stack (AWS, Sinatra, React) At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.Pay Transparency DisclosureIf based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.  Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range.
