Global Automotive/Mobility SupplierHighly visible role within NA and GloballyAbout Our ClientOur client for the Sales Director - Off Highway opportunity is a leading manufacturer and supplier in the automotive, commercial vehicle, off highway markets specializing in the manufacturing solutions that serve OEM customers globally. This client has solutions for internal combustion and electrification applications and continues to drive innovation.The Sales Director - Off Highway will be tasked with driving global account strategy and execution with OEMs in the Off Highway space. This person will also be in charge and own the key account management strategy with OEMs to drive market share and increasing product portfolio with customers managing a team of Sales Manager and Program Managers. This person will focus on growing the current customer portfolio while also expanding into unserved customers.Job DescriptionIncrease market share and development new business opportunities with global off highway and commercial vehicle OEMsBuild strong customer relationships and strategic partnerships to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate productsDevelop strategic roadmaps for key targets and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to grow market share and diverse product portfolioAchieve and exceed Budget Sales and Gross Margin for your OEM customersEnsure all reports, plans, forecasts and administrative requirements are completed accurately and in a timely manner both personally and for the team.Work cross functionally with new product development, application engineering, customer service, finance, manufacturing and othersMeet all reporting deadlines as are set by senior managementIdentify new and profitable opportunities with existing customers and leverage these to increase profitable sales with themManage projects from concept to launch on time and within budgetProvide regular and relevant feedback on Market conditions, competitor activities and progress towards business objectives.Analyze the current market position, i.e. the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.Working with the Marketing team develop marketing material, strategies and justify new project opportunities to support the sales effortParticipate in APQP meetings and follow up on commercial and customer related issuesEnsure continuous improvement in a change oriented culture.Report on team members activities and progress while also developing and mentoring team members removing barriers for successThe Successful ApplicantBachelor's Degree in business, engineering, or related.
