Responsibilities

We’re looking for a registered dental hygienist to join our growing team in Scottsdale. George Christakos, DDS, is a dedicated family and cosmetic dentist. He is passionate about patient care and treats his dental team with the utmost respect. Dental Hygienist Duties & Responsibilities    *Meet and greet patients and make sure they feel comfortable  *Cleaning of dental instruments to ensure proper sterilization  *Perform initial patient screenings dental examinations  *Look for signs of gum disease, infections and/or cavities  *Remove plaque and apply fluoride or sealants to prevent cavities and tooth decay  *Explain good oral hygiene techniques to patients of all ages  *Provide post-operative health education to patients  *Take x-ray images of the patient’s teeth   *Work with Dr. Christakos to decide the best form of treatment for a variety of dental disease  *Keep detailed records of each patient’s visit and update their healthy history Dental Hygienist Requirements  *Dental Hygienist licensure in Arizona  *Current CPR certification  *Understands HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines     Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and customer service skills ••••Work days are Monday – Thursdays, 8:00am to 5:00pm    If you love helping people and want to work alongside a group of experienced dental professionals, apply today!   #CB
