Job Description:
Fidelity Investments is looking for a Principal Full Stack Software Engineer that can work across multiple software development teams and with Data Scientists. This position is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will apply your software design and development skills to architect and build robust, scalable, and efficient solutions for our customers.
The Team
The Fidelity Labs Regulatory Technology Team is missioned with bringing innovative products and capabilities to market, holding end to end responsibility for full solution development. We will introduce new products to market to be used daily across the globe, across all devices and browsers. The team experience is collaborative, innovative and engaged in a start-up like atmosphere. Scrum teams work on all aspects of our products, and work interactively.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 10+ years of experience developing full stack web applications, including significant hands-on experience with Spring Boot, React, AWS services and networking
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Docker, Jenkins, ETL tools, CI/CD (Terraform)
- Passion for automated testing as a core part of the development process
- Mentor other team members on design techniques and coding standards and help them in making technical decisions
- Comfortable taking initiative and owning the delivery of technical solutions from conception to completion
- Ability to learn and develop expertise in new tools and products quickly
