Prima CARE, in Fall River, Massachusetts, is recruiting a fellowship-trained gastroenterologist to join their established Gastro Division of Board-certified physicians and their team of Nurse Practitioners. The practice serves a large patient base and offers expertise in intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and biliary disease. Candidates must be comfortable with a variety of gastrointestinal disease, routine endoscopic procedures, and advanced endoscopy procedures, including ERCP. Their busy outpatient endoscopy suite is located in their own office complex, with a full complement of nursing, anesthesia, and pathology staff. Procedures on higher-risk or complex patients are performed in the local hospitals outpatient suite. The successful candidate would see office patients and hospital consults at Saint Annes Hospital (a Steward facility). This hospital offers imaging and interventional services, and surgical procedures are performed either locally or referred to superb tertiary centers in Boston. PrimaCARE is a 160-provider, physician-owned multispecialty group in Fall River, Massachusetts, an affiliate of the Steward Health Care Network. In addition to 40 Primary Care physicians, they represent various medical and surgical specialists, with their own outpatient laboratory and imaging capabilities (CT, MRI, ultrasound, and FibroScan). New graduates or experienced, practicing physicians will be considered. Fellowship (or other specific training) in Advanced GI Endoscopy is desirable. Fall River is an excellent medical community and Prima CAREs broad Primary Care base provides an abundant source of specialty referrals. The salary is competitive and commensurate with training and experience. Physicians are eligible for corporate bonuses and partnership.
