Inpatient/Physician coverage. Our on-call cardiologist is the in-house cardiologist responsible for doing consults (ED and Inpatient); f/U consults from the prior day; responding to code stemi; conduct stress tests and reading echoes. We need a locum who will provide a minimum of 8 hours clinical time prior to initiating a call back fee. Anything less than 6 will not facilitate our needs, especially on weekend when the workload expands to 8 hours regularly. Inpatient - Consulting and ED STEMI Call. When on ED STEMI call, the cardiologist responds to STEMI and ED Emergencies; does bedside consults at the request of hospitalist, performs CATHS if needed; Interprets ECHO and STRESS TESTS. We perform diagnostic Caths and we are a low-risk PCI Center. We also do TEEs; Echoes; Nuclear and Treadmill Stress Tests
