SMART Physician Recruiting is seeking a general anesthesiologist for a locum opportunity West of St. Louis, MO. Call is expected at this location. Post call day off is not guaranteed, but they will try to accommodate this. Shifts are flexible (8s, 10s, 12s) and the amount of work each week can be flexible. May be able to guarantee 40 hrs/week if desired. There is medical direction, but physicians do some of their own cases as well. Credentialing can be completed 4 weeks after all documentation has been submitted. Ideal applicants will have experience with a broad number of cases and have a MO license. Locum Rate: $1600/shift Locum Benefits: Paid travel, Lodging, and malpractice insurance with tail OT/Call Rate: $225/hr Call Schedule: 1st Call 1/5 Case Types: lots of eyes, ortho: total joints, urology, general, podiatry, endo, vascular, lungs,blocks, healthy peds (ENT). No hearts, heads or trauma.
