About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Partnership and Customer Development to join its mission of providing young children and those who educate and raise them with the tools necessary to enhance and elevate their awareness, expression, and regulation of their emotions. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategically developing major revenue streams, investments, and support for the company's programs and initiatives. This role involves prospecting and building relationships with early education schools, public school districts, sector investors for social impact, foundations, and other clients both nationally and globally. The Head of Partnership and Customer Development will also be tasked with creating a growth strategy, maintaining key relationships, and serving as a subject matter expert to engage clients and supporters. Applicants should have a minimum of 7 years experience in a senior leadership role in for-profit business development and relationship management, with a proven track record of driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep-seated belief in the advancement of education for young children, particularly in the development of emotional competence and expression. Key responsibilities include serving as the primary growth leader, building a growth-focused culture, and working with C-level leadership to create strategic planning initiatives. The role requires exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to engage and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. A customer-centric mindset, a strong professional presence, and the ability to balance mission with sustainable revenue streams are essential. A related undergraduate degree is required, with a preference for a master's degree in education or business.
