Assembler:
Job Summary: Assemble components into assemblies and assemblies into machines to print. Using common hand tools and specialized tools as required. Attention to detail, material specifications and ability to build simple assemblies to very complex machines. You must be a reliable, individual with a keen eye for detail and ability to work promptly while ensuring strict standards of safety and quality.
Assembler Responsibilities:
• Understanding provided engineered assembly drawings and produce assemblies/parts to print
• Control and Maintain Tools as required to produce accurate parts
• Inspect and check layouts and parts before assembly to ensure correctness to print and communicate any issues to your supervisor.
• Carry out suitable tasks based on production needs
• Ensure the safety and cleanliness of equipment /work area
• Maintain tools and ensure they are ready for use at any time required
• Provide help to other technicians and material handler as needed
Assembler Requirements:
• 1-5 years General Assembly and Machine Build
• GED/High School Diploma
• Ability to read assembly drawings and blue prints
• Operate hand tools and basic shop tools as required
• Physical capacity to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Strong attention to detail combined with analytical and problems-solving skills
