Non-Invasive Cardiologist

The Division of Cardiology at The MetroHealth Medical Center is seeking a board-certified/board eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a growing team of providers. This is an academic position with an academic faculty appointment at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine. In addition to clinical efforts, candidates will have protected time for teaching and research.
Qualifications:
- ACC/ASE Level II competency in echocardiography
- Competency in independently performing and interpreting TEE
- Competency in interpreting ECG and echocardiographic stress tests
- Competency in analyzing and interpreting strain imaging
- Competency in performing and interpreting TEE 3D echocardiography
- Successful passage of the ASE Exam
- Board Certification in Cardiovascular Diseases (or board eligible with plans to take the exam with continuation contingent on passage)
- Interest in and skill in teaching fellows/residents
- Demonstratable competence in all aspects of general clinical cardiology
Preferred additional skills but not required:
- Imaging fellowship with CT/MR training
- Clinical interest in Cardio-obstetrics
- Clinical interest in Cardio-preventative program
