DescriptionWe are looking for a highly qualified, self-starting, and results-oriented Sr. Software Architect to join us in building an innovative content production pipeline to reshape how media is built, managed, and delivered. Minimum QualificationsAt least 10 years of experience, at least 3 of which are in a lead or an architect roleExperience leading cross-functional technical teamsExcellent big-picture problem-solving skillsExperience with technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, encouraging best practicesWillingness to take ownership and set direction, especially in early-stage projects.Experience with programming languages (i.e. Java, .Net, Python, C++)Deep understanding of software engineering principles, cloud computing, and modern development frameworksPreferred QualificationsSuperb verbal and written communication skillsAbility to independently learn and promote new technologiesCollaborative, team-oriented attitudeFamiliarity with digital media formats and content management platforms is helpfulHave a belief in automation and tooling as a critical part of the software lifecyclePay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
