What we're looking for:
The Director Sourcing is a high-level leader responsible for overseeing aspects of the Indirect Sourcing function, including strategic planning, supplier management, and process optimization. This role involves team management and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that align with business goals and customer needs.
What you'll do:
- Drive initiatives to optimize costs, enhance supplier performance, and ensure a resilient supply chain.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable contracts and terms.
- Oversee the evaluation and selection of suppliers to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of both tactical purchasing and strategic sourcing operations.
- Utilize data and analytics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with sourcing activities, ensuring business continuity and compliance.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
- Manage the Sourcing budget, ensuring effective cost control and adherence to financial objectives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to sourcing costs and savings.
- Performs other duties as needed.
What you have:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 10+ years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of management experience.
