About the Role
The Account Director brings value to our clients by analyzing, solving, and presenting viable integrated solutions to client pain points. They identify and inspire new workstreams and solutions that lead to client growth, collaborating with and drawing upon the expertise of Ogilvy's vast resources and capabilities. The Account Director is a trusted advisor and partner to senior brand managers and marketing/category directors, as well as agency leaders at similar levels. They are exceptional leaders of teams, inspiring others to act courageously, and championing great creative work.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Pay Range
$75,000 - $180,000 USD

What You'll Do
- Manage a client's business or portfolio of integrated accounts with a target of ~$3MM in revenue
- Lead the delivery of cross functional integrated solutions by partnering with Ogilvy's capability experts across PR, Social, Consulting and Comms while identifying new business opportunities, scope of work, and revenue
- Immerse yourself in the essential dynamics, strategies, and drivers of your client's business
- Look for opportunities and formulate plans to manage and exploit them to drive business
- Put clients first, interfacing regularly with all client levels and constantly striving for innovative solutions and big ideas
- Demonstrate strong collaboration skills with internal teams, pulling together agency resources to effectively and seamlessly support your client's business
- Build and maintain strong relationships with creative and strategic partners, effectively navigating conflicting priorities
- Coach, involve, and inspire the development of junior staff by providing consistent feedback, training, and growth opportunities
- Serve as an open and willing resource to team members in assessing ideas and directions, providing guidance to push further
- Monitor and communicate POV on current marketing and industry issues
- Demonstrate responsibility and accountability for overall agency performance and flawless delivery
What You'll Need
- 7-10 years' experience in account management, including 3-5 years of supervisory experience
- Digital fluency, with an understanding of the complex, fragmented media landscape and ability to bring together cohesive programs that drive results for our clients
- Extensive video production development and the capability to lead mid- to large-scale production
- Recent experience in non-traditional, experiential creative and production
- Curiosity to learn business and categorical knowledge that can help drive and direct creative solutions that enable positive business outcomes for our Client
- An appreciation for how great work gets done, and a commitment to ensuring creative excellence
- Strong communication and presentation skills
