Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Operations Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Power Apps development, proficient knowledge of ITIL best practices, ServiceNOW reporting, Microsoft PowerBI dashboards and a strong background in root cause analysis, problem, and incident management within the IT infrastructure domain.

The Operations Engineer will serve as a key contact with the user community for solving business issues and for designing, developing, and implementing new business initiatives.

As an IT Operations Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our theme park's IT infrastructure. Your expertise in IT Incident Management, Application Monitoring, and Operational Reporting will contribute significantly to minimizing system downtime and enhancing the overall guest experience. You will play a critical role in our efforts to maintain system availability and performance, ensuring our attractions, services, and operations run smoothly every day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Incident Management: Lead the response to IT incidents, ensuring quick resolution and minimal impact on operations. Develop and implement strategies for incident prevention.
  • Application Monitoring: Oversee real-time monitoring of all IT systems and applications, identifying and addressing performance issues proactively to prevent downtime.
  • Operational Reporting: Design, maintain, and improve dashboards and KPIs that accurately reflect system availability and performance. Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and operational improvements.
  • System Optimization: Work with technology teams to continuously assess system performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and enhancements to support scalability and reliability.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with IT teams and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and initiatives. Communicate effectively with non-technical teams to explain IT concepts and strategies.


Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT operations, with a focus on incident management and system monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and cloud services relevant to a high-traffic entertainment venue.
  • Proficient in tools and technologies for application monitoring, incident tracking, and operational reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Requirements:
  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
