We are currently searching for an experienced Proposal Manager to support our Mid-Atlantic Region.

What you'll be doing:
  • Assisting the team with winning new business by supporting the proposal development process
  • Developing, writing, editing, and proofreading proposals, presentations, project descriptions, staff resumes, and marketing collateral
  • Applying creativity and strategic insight in brainstorming, storyboarding, and other strategy development sessions
  • Updating information in project descriptions/resumes/proposals/qualifications for the firm's database
  • Preparing technical teams for presentations and client interviews

What you need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree - English, communications, history, marketing, or journalism preferred
  • 7 - 10 years of experience in writing proposals in response to owner RFPs/RFQs in the engineering field
  • Aptitude for managing multiple, concurrent proposals from pre-advertisement through submission, working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to write clearly and succinctly with a high-level of accuracy, using proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to work with colleagues at all levels of the organization
  • Self-motivation and a well-developed attention to detail
  • Desire to work in a collaborative and team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite is strongly desired
