- Uses computational methods and tools and performs classical hand analysis of strength of metallic and composite primary aircraft structures and finite element analysis.
- Performs pre-dimensioning computations by implementing analytical or digital computation methods and pass judgement on the credibility of the data received and the results obtained.
- Take part in drawing up the measurement plan applicable to the tests, and analyses the results.
- Familiarity and experience with NASTRAN, pre/post processor software, such as PATRAN or Hypermesh, as well as knowledge of MIL-HDBK-5 are also required.
- Candidate must have working knowledge/experience with Computer Aided Design software tool CATIA V5 (preferred).
- Prior experience with PDM/VAS is preferred.
- Candidate must be capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings.
