DoubleVerify is seeking a Corporate Counsel with a strong legal background, exceptional communication skills and the ability to independently prioritize multiple projects with stakeholders across the organization. The Corporate Counsel will be responsible for advising on securities matters, supporting M&A transactions, managing DV's global legal entity portfolio and other legal projects and duties as needed.

What you'll do
  • Preparation and filing of periodic SEC reports, including Proxy Statement and Forms 10-K and 8-K, and advising on developments in securities laws.
  • Support M&A transactions to align with the company's corporate development strategy, including drafting transaction documents, conducting due diligence and coordinating internal teams cross-functionally.
  • Manage global legal entity portfolio, including through the preparation of resolutions, statutory filings, compliance calendars and organizational charts.
  • Assist in management of DoubleVerify's intellectual property portfolio.
  • Develop, implement and continually improve processes and procedures to increase scalability and efficiency of the legal team.
  • Coordinate with legal team members on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Other legal projects and duties as needed.

Who you are
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department.
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active good standing with at least one United States bar.
  • Self-starter who operates autonomously while being a collaborative team player.
  • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts with senior leadership, internal stakeholders, customers, vendors and outside advisors.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to simultaneously manage several initiatives and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred location in New York.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.
The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $110,000 - $190,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.
