Your Opportunity
Stantec is currently seeking Construction Team Lead(s) to join the BC1262 Program and Construction Management Team. Reporting to a Senior Manager, this position will be responsible for managing multi-disciplinary team members that are responsible for delivering Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) construction projects. They will be providing overall guidance and mentorship to staff for the TTC Construction Management Project and help with employee encouragement and motivation.
The work will be performed at one of the various TTC Construction Offices within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

- Provide operational leadership
- Lead multi-disciplinary team members
- Facilitate the successful delivery of projects for our clients,
- Liaise with key project delivery stakeholders using established stakeholder engagement processes
- Assisting Leadership with the establishment of professional development and performance goals, fostering an environment focused on achievement, and regular performance and career conversations.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Possess excellent organizational skills, time-management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members, and present information and ideas for audiences of all levels
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
- Proven ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to handle competing demands and assignments
- Must be able to successfully work both collaboratively and independently
Education and Experience
- Hold a bachelor's degree in a related field or discipline
- Other relevant credentials considered an asset
- 5 years of related experience in engineering, construction or contract administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with Toronto Transit Commission construction projects or transit construction related experience considered an asset
