Leidos has a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) opening for an energetic, experienced, cleared professional seeking a rewarding and challenging opportunity leading a large linguistic support program. The DPM will work at a dedicated facility in the Reston, Virginia, area. Occasional local travel in Northern Virginia is required. Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Scope and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have experience managing large language programs, be a strong leader, have strong oral and written communication skills, and have extensive experience managing multidisciplinary CONUS and OCONUS teams. The DPM is responsible for providing support in concurrence with, and in the absence of, the Program Manager (PM). The DPM will assist the PM with providing o versight and guidance to Leidos and subcontractor staff and will support all aspects of program execution. The DPM will assist in managing lifecycle linguistic translation services, such as translation, transcription, workflow, quality control, and training as required per the Statement of Work. In addition, the DPM will assist with management of the facility, procurement, security, IT, and data operations as they relate to the program.
As a Leidos manager, the DPM supports career development plans for Leidos employees and manages compliance with Leidos training requirements and performance reviews. In addition, the DPM will:

Pay Range: Pay Range $144,300.00 - $260,850.00

- Manage contractor team personnel and communicate the policies and goals of the customer
- Ensure effective use of contract resources and avoid unnecessary management and overhead functions.
- Respond to COTR/GTM requirements as needed
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- BA/BS and 12+ years of prior relevant experience
- Minimum 7 years Program management experience preferred on linguistic support contracts
- Minimum 5 years supervisory management and relevant work experience to include management of cost reimbursable contracts
- Prior Intelligence Community experience, including a minimum of 5 years direct experience supporting our customer.
- Working knowledge of HUMINT and overseas operational activities in the IC
- Demonstrated experience coordinating and integrating HR policies, roles, and procedures across a large program
- Demonstrated experience managing programs of 50 or more personnel with experience providing operational IC support in OCONUS environments
- Proven Program Management leadership for multi-team programs
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Customer focused with demonstrated excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- The successful DPM will be flexible, adaptable to change, and will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic program environment.
- Critical thinking and solution-based decision-making abilities are imperative.
- S trong administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and to perform under strict timelines
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and as member of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP or other project management certifications
- Experience in the development and management of EAC and ETC
- Experience on customer systems
- Familiarity with customer travel policies and procedures
- Overseas travel experience
