My client is seeking a well established Superintendent based out of Ashburn, VA. My Client has become a highly respected leader in the Northern Virginia construction industry. With a focus on projects valued at $20M and under, including Build-to-Suit, Flex/Industrial, Institutional, Distribution Centers, Low-rise Office, Retail, Tenant Interiors, Repositioning, and Specialty Construction.

Description

My client is seeking a seasoned Superintendent with substantial experience in the construction industry, particularly in interior projects:

• Manage daily field operations to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and trades to maintain project schedules and quality standards
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintaining detailed reports
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to address and resolve any issues promptly
• Uphold a culture of teamwork and excellence on the job site

Profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry
• Experience with renovation projects $1M+
• Proven track record of running jobs from cradle to grave
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Mastery of reading construction drawings; tasks including reading, interpreting, and updating construction project-related drawings
• Proficiency in PlanGrid, Ranken, and Bluebeam highly preferred
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• A commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
• Ability to foster a collaborative and positive work environment
