JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Integrated Master Scheduler will support a high-visibility enterprise-level program at Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) and develop a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for the creation and implementation of an Enterprise Integrated Master Plan (IMP). This position will analyze and integrate project data from multiple sources, to include strategic and authoritative guidance and source documents, stakeholder Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs), financial and budgetary processes and timelines, and other dynamic actions in order to lead the design and build of the IMP. The IMP shall reflect best practices, per Government Accounting Office (GAO) standards, Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and industry standards established by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Duties will include:
  • Planning, designing, developing, and delivery of an Enterprise Integrated Master Plan (IMP).
  • Sustain, monitor, maintain, and report on status of the IMP, capturing all major program milestones and events.
  • Assist in development of Enterprise Schedule Work Breakdown Structures and performing gap analysis.
  • Develop and provide risk analysis based on information gathered in support of the Enterprise Integrated Master Plan.
  • Lead or support meetings, conferences, and workshops to support planning teams and reviews.
  • Work as part of a team comprised of Active Duty, Civil Service, and contractors to offer the client customized planning solutions.


CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Secret Clearance Required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: BA or BS degree from an accredited university.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Mandatory: Project Management Institute-Scheduling Professional.

PMI Certification Substitution: The PMI certification may be substituted by a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), with demonstrated knowledge and specialized on-the-job training experience developing and maintaining DoD project schedules. A Planning and Scheduling Professional Certification will also be accepted.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 6 years' experience creating and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules.
