Mid Level Weapons/EW Analyst

Overview:
Provides program management support to aid in directly enabling program offices to move to Digital Acquisition frameworks in the coming years with high consideration for EW frameworks. Additional work within the Eglin AFB Armament Directorate (AFLCMC/EB) portfolio to coordinate efforts on Digital Acquisitions specific to enabling Weapon Data Link usage in the AFLCMC/EB portfolio as well as within NAVAIR.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for shared responsibility with the Materiel Leader for systems acquisition management and direction in the development, production, sustainment and deployment of select projects within the AFLCMC/EB. Primary duties include leading initial development of digital acquisition courses of action, defining component transition plans to digital and evolving mediums as well as , developing acquisition strategies to utilize and maximize the use of the data gathered on each component and subsystem. Assisting in the development of strategic plans for emerging classified projects that includes analyzing, managing and supporting advanced systems studies. Analyze science and technology capability lifecycles and transition of capability. Collect, complete, organize and interpret technical data and information. Develop/analyze project status, risks/opportunities, schedules and milestones. Coordinate and facilitate program meetings and reviews. Prepare and brief program leadership. Represent Leadership at various meetings and provide feedback/recommendations as required.
Required qualifications:
• 7+ Years of Weapon/Platform PM experience as a lead for development/production
• 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
• Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project)
• Active Secret Clearance; TOP SECRET clearance ideal
Desired qualifications:
• Experience supporting AFMC/AFLCMC EB Programs or Joint weapon programs/platforms at highest classification levels
• Technical Degree, APDP PM Level III, PMP, MBA or other advanced degree ideal
• SCI Eligible / SAP Eligible
Location:
• Eglin AFB. FL
Travel:
• 4-6 times annually
