Manager, Strategic Partnerships (6 Month Contract)

Working in the dynamic environment of Four Seasons global headquarters, the Manager, Strategic Partnerships (6 Month Contract) role is responsible for managing existing strategic partnerships globally, ensuring all are in line with Four Seasons objectives and strategies, and executed flawlessly. The successful candidate will drive the development, day-to-day management, and execution of existing brand partners, as well as look for ways to extend these existing relationships to further grow value and impact.

They will also support partner prospecting, development, and strategic recommendations through analysis and competitive intelligence. This includes supporting the Partnership agenda to drive our Guest strategy and other Lines of Business.

As well, the successful candidate will support the development and implementation of a Partnership Governance process.

What You'll Be Doing:

Partner Management and Delivery
  • Main point of contact for managing relationships with existing strategic partners
  • Lead execution of all partner related programs (e.g. Beyond by Four Seasons)
  • Work with strategic partners to develop the relationship further, including creation of Commercial plans to drive execution of the partnerships and to create additional value from these partnerships.
  • Regularly reviews the 'service' received from partners and whether to continue/discontinue any relations.
  • Implements and execute a Partner measurement framework to maintain a rigorous outcome-driven approach to all strategic partnerships.


Strategic Partnership Framework
  • Support the development and execution of a strategic partnership model and framework.
  • Support the develop of a hotel toolkit, framework, guidelines and governance structure for local hotel partnership strategies and activations.


Partnership Prospecting and Evaluation
  • Lead analysis and insight generation to provide a point of view on the brand partnerships landscape, including trends and opportunity areas, and competitive intelligence working closely with FS cross functional teams.
  • Support partner prospecting, development, and strategic recommendations.
  • Support the Partnership agenda to drive our Guest strategy and other Lines of Business
  • Support partner selection process.


Governance
  • Lead measurement / tracking against agreed benchmarks, KPIs and scorecard for partnership performance.
  • Manage Partnership budget to ensure efficient use of resources and strong ROI.
  • Ensure successful planning and execution of existing partnership terms, working in close consultation with Partnership team, Legal, Finance and other cross-functional business partners as required.


What You Bring:
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in a corporate marketing/strategy/partnership role.
  • College or University degree, preferably in a business or marketing communications program. MBA an asset.
  • Experience building, incubating, and scaling partnerships.
  • Ability to think strategically, critically and connect partnerships to business objectives and brand strategy.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a wide range of diverse projects in parallel.
  • Demonstrated experience working across external partners / business units.
  • Global commercial experience preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication, including effectively managing external partner relationships to develop mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Highly results oriented with experience increasing top line revenue and driving ROI
  • Previous management experience in a consumer marketing and corporate/brand strategy.

  • An excellent project manager with strong business and commercial acumen who can lead and execute multi-channel projects with diverse stakeholders across departments and across regions.
  • A leader who can build strong business relationships across both internal disciplines and external partners, who is comfortable in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, commercial, and finance background.
  • Strong computer skills in a PC and MAC environment including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and also adept at learning new applications.
  • Exceptionally strong communication and presentation skills (written, verbal and presentation).
  • Able to influence broad range of stakeholders across the business without positional authority.
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Able to conceive and implement projects from start to finish, manage processes and expectations, and build commitment to deadlines.
  • Ability to think critically and evaluate best possible solutions and procedures.
  • Able to work independently, solve problems, take initiative, and use good judgment.
  • Well-organized, able to set priorities and be detail oriented.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships.


This role will be a Hybrid working model, which will require 3 days per week in the Four Seasons Corporate Office located at 1165 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario #LI-Hybrid
