Radiology - Breast Physician

The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences with Indiana University Health Physicians and in partnership with IU School of Medicine is seeking a diagnostic radiologist to work in the south central region of Indiana. This is a clinical track position.
Position Details
* Clinical expertise in plain field radiograph interpretation, body CT imaging, 3D mammography and general and breast ultrasound is desired.
* responsible for performing fluoroscopic and routine image-guided body procedures including ultrasound-guided breast biopsies.
* Candidates with appropriate subspecialty training or experience would have an opportunity to incorporate some of these subspecialty studies within their case load.
* In addition to clinical work, responsibilities may include teaching and lecturing residents and breast imaging fellows.
Requirements
* Applicant must be proficient in all phases of breast imaging including MRI and intervention. Fellowship in Mammography required
* Minimum requirements include DO or MD
* eligible for licensure in Indiana
* Radiology board certified or eligible.

Hospital Overview
The new IU Health Bloomington Hospital and Regional Academic Health Center opened in December 2021. The facility offers a personalized approach to inpatient services (including intensive care, complex surgeries and comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services), outpatient services with leading-edge diagnostic testing, flexible space in the emergency department for post-care observation, a dedicated trauma center and a cancer infusion center.
At the same time, the facility strengthens healthcare education by providing space for collaboration and coordination of care and teaching. Students and trainees frequently come to the hospital side of the facility for clinical experiences.
