Large Aerospace and Defense manufacturer is hiring for a Test Technician for their Hauppauge Facility. Candidates with prior experience working in the electroncics industry are encouraged to . Responsibilities

  • Experience with component level testing

  • Ability to work and understand blueprints and schematics

  • Assembles, tests, and/or solders to customer requirements

  • Performs complex assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power toolsmechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment.

  • Trouble shoots and resolves most set up problems independently.

  • Uses oscilloscopes, transducers, and other related equipment.

  • Troubleshoots and reworks malfunctions disclosed by test data independently.

  • Performs diagnostic teardown and rebuilding of product, including evaluation of suitability of components, according to customer specifications.

  • Produces and inspects assemblies that conform to product specifications.
