May be required to workunder the assistance of higher grade operators. Job Responsibilities: Works in accordance with airplane order, blueprints, engineering specifications, standardprocedures, oral and written instructions to perform any combination of the following duties with aminimum amount of supervision. Performs any layout, math computation or planning necessary to assemble and install avariety of major aircraft structures and assemblies, landing gear systems, props, andoptional equipment installations. Installs and/or reworks a variety of engine accessories such as oil and fuel pumps,generator, hydraulic and vacuum pumps. Services, installs, adjusts radio(s), electrical and electronic systems on the aircraft andrequests or recommends installations or other essential changes as required. Uses aircraft mechanic\'s hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque and impact wrenches, pliers,and hammers plus sheet metal tools such as rivet gun, drill motor, portable dimpling equipment,bucking bars, file, and some measuring devices such as scale. Required to repair and rework sheet metal parts and assemblies involving operations such ascutting, filing, drilling, countersinking, fitting, shimming, riveting, and bucking. Performs other related duties as required.
