Overview:
Functions in a variety of roles within the Wellness Center including inpatient and outpatient Cardiopulmonary Rehab programs. Focus is on interdisciplinary team approach to individual and group patient and significant other education, direction of individual and group exercise programs and energetic, visible marketing of Wellness Programs to physicians and community. Additional responsibilities include functioning as a team leader and assuming charge of emergency medical situations, possessing a creative approach to Wellness program design and development offering direct client care, assessment and orientation, completion of walk studies and goal setting with outcomes measurement, physician communication and interaction skills, problem identification and resolution. Ability to support and drive cultural change relate to healthcare's approach to Wellness and Prevention.
Day Shift, 7am-4:30pm
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in telemetry monitored setting with critical care experience preferred. Two years hospital experience caring for cardiac and/or pulmonary patients. Must be component in cardiac rhythm recognition and significance.
- Required Education: Graduated from accredited nursing school with associate or bachelor degree
- Preferred Education: BSN
- Certifications: BLS, AED, ACLS certification required Ability to pass telemetry competency test upon hire and annually
