As a Silicon Program Manager within the Hardware Technology Engineering organization, you will be responsible for driving front-end silicon program schedules and resolving technical issues that enable timely silicon. This is an individual contributor role, helping manage the development process for SOC silicon used in next-generation Apple products. The focus of this role is on the initial phases of architecture, specifications, design, and pre-silicon prototyping to initial samples. You will also be responsible for HW-SW integration methodology, automation infrastructure, and execution of data delivery from silicon to software teams. Interaction and coordination with post-silicon validation teams is also encouraged.Description- Work on a Program Management team responsible for driving technical issue resolution to enable timely silicon to meet daring product schedules of powerful silicon. - Drive internal program processes to guarantee high-quality silicon definition and design execution. - Develop scripts and automation to implement scalable pre and post silicon SOC methodology. - Evaluate current processes and drive innovative, coordinated improvements and methodologies. - Interface and drive silicon work and issues across multi-functional teams: Design, Verification, Validation, Technology, System Hardware, Operations, and Software. - Manage dependencies across various programs, functional teams, and sites. - Focused issue reporting, bug tracking, and communication of program risks and status.Minimum QualificationsBS and 3+ years of experience in SoC/VLSI Chip Design, ASIC Chip Design, or Technology process development.Experience integrating Hardware/Software or Hardware/Firmware development.Python or other scripting languages.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in a dynamic engineering environment, strong at multi-tasking and real-time crisis management.Expertise owning and driving project development using well-defined metrics.Technical Program or Project Management, or Functional Management experience.Phenomenal leadership and communication skills (Executive communication).Experience working with ASIC & VLSI design flows and leading silicon projects from concept to production.Familiarity with project management tools (Confluence, JIRA).Experience with IP-XACT as an IP exchange format.Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
