LVN/LPN / LVN/LPN / South Carolina / Any / Licensed Practical Nurse Job

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a correctional facility in Salters, South Carolina. The ideal LPN will have 1 year or more experience in the correctional environment and have current South Carolina licensed.

Requirements:

• Unrestricted South Carolina License
• Registered with the South Carolina Board of Nursing
• 1 year or more experience in Correctional environment preferred
• CPR

Responsibilities:

• Completing necessary medical documents in a legible format.
• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
• Monitor mental health illness and medication with appropriate referral, medical referrals and follow-ups.
• Receiving patients and explaining procedures to alleviate undue anxiety
• Submitting reports and evaluations as requested
• Coordinate with the Clinical Director, Medical Officer, or Mid-Level Practitioner for treatment of patient and release of information.
• Other duties assigned by management
