Inside Sales Rep

Position Summary:

  • Identify opportunities in your assigned territory to generate new business, reactivate dormant accounts, and grow existing dealer, contractor, and architect base to achieve quarterly sales objectives. Guide the consumer journey from start to finish through outstanding customer service and product knowledge. Position will report directly to the Inside Sales Manager.

Your primary duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Build relationships with other AZEK Company departments through quarterly shadow program
  • Step by step progression plan for each Inside Sales Rep (0-3 months, 3-12 months, 12 months+)

Know Our Products

  • Become proficient in AZEK & TimberTech product category and demonstrate a knowledge of the building materials industry
  • Learn ins and outs of assigned territory
  • Develop great relationships with AZEK reps in assigned territory
  • Travel quarterly to learn market & work in the field
  • Ability to communicate and sell value through differentiation
  • Gather & pass on competitive market intelligence

Maintain, Develop, and Create Customer Relationships

  • Call and connect with new and/or existing dealers, contractors, and/or architects to sell our products Guide consumers through exceptional service and product knowledge as homeowners strive toward re-inventing their outdoor living space

  • Acquire new customers and convert existing customers through prospecting in assigned territory, outbound marketing campaigns, and referrals
  • Engage customers and present products at industry events and shows (TimberTech Championship, 3M Open, Deck Expos, etc.)

Market and Customer Analysis

  • Effectively uses technology-based CRM Salesforce tool for lead follow-up, pipeline management, forecasting and lost opportunity tracking
  • Keeps comprehensive and accurate notes in CRM Salesforce
  • Utilize Salesforce to identify customer opportunities and track performance
  • Identify leads/tracks jobs in Salesforce
  • Participate in business initiatives and projects to drive market growth

We believe the successful candidate will have:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field desired but not required
  • Experience: 1-3+ years of Sales Experience and/or Customer Service Experience
  • Eager, ready to learn, and open to being coached

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The annual salary for this position ranges from $49,000 in our lowest market up to $59,000 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. The pay for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
