Overview
Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a multi-specialty group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a Physician Assistant provider to its busy Urology department. MMG clinicians provide services to patients at Dignity Health Medical Foundations Mercy Medical Group locations throughout Sacramento.
This position will involve both outpatient clinic responsibilities. These duties will include new patient consults and returning office visits, patient education, and responding to patient inquiries for a wide variety of urologic problems. Additional duties of hospital rounds for post-op care may be included periodically.
The work schedule is Monday through Friday with no nights/ no call responsibilities.

Compensation Range: $133,000 - $176,000 / Year

MMG clinicians provide services to patients at Dignity Health Medical Foundation locations throughout Sacramento. Responsibilities
Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
Treatment Planning and Management:
- Develop and implement patient care plans.
- Prescribe medications and therapies.
- Provide health promotion and disease prevention education.
Collaboration and Consultation:
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Consult with physicians and specialists as needed.
- Coordinate patient care across various settings.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in both the clinical and surgical setting
- Urology-specific experience and laparoscopic first assisting are highly desirable
- A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
- Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare)
- Completion of state mandated educational courses
Pay Range
$64.00 - $85.00 /hour
