Patient Population: Level III Maternal and Neonatal Designation
Number of Beds: 10 Labor and Delivery Suites, 2 OR Suites, 2 PACU beds, 4 OB ED beds
Department Specifics: Strong team atmosphere and culture of unity, over 2300 deliveries annually, Board-Certified OB Physician on-site 24/7, numerous labor support tools, strong focus on quality and process improvement, including active participation in the Texas AIM Plus initiative, focus on individual’s career and future goals, and strong unit nursing certification rate.

As part of the medical center’s long-term plans, the hospital structure can add additional floors, increasing the number of beds to 400 as community growth warrants.

Qualifications
- Grad of an Accredited Program
- Specialized field of study should be nursing.
- A current and valid nursing license.
- Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
