Position: Full time
Schedule: 7 shifts every two weeks, 7a 7pm (3 shifts one week, 4 shifts the next week)
Join an established group looking for a hospitalist to join their team in the ED Observation Unit.
No procedures required.
Function as an observational physician in an ED Observation Unit taking low acuity observation admissions where the admission timeframe is expected to be 12-24 hours with a 10-15% failure rate of patients who will need to be admitted inpatient (then will go to another physician on the inpatient services)
Manage between 10-15 pateints per day
