Position SummaryTHE FOCUS IS YOU: As a Transaction Services Senior Manager in our Melville, NY office, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing teams that provide comprehensive financial advisory services to clients engaged in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions. This dynamic role requires a deep understanding of financial due diligence and transactional analysis; coupled with strong leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of professionals.WHAT YOU WILL DOLead financial due diligence (buy-side and sell-side) engagements including: Quoting and scoping prospective engagements; Directing and performing analysis;Leading management discussions and correspondence; Preparation and presentation of key deal analysis (Quality of Earnings, Net Working Capital, Debt & Debt-Like, etc.); Writing reports and delivering findings to clients.Manage and communicate pipeline and project status internally and with clients.Develop standards, practices, procedures, templates and thought leadership.Participate in recruiting and interviewing / candidate selection.Develop and mentor staff.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ExperienceDemonstrable M&A execution experienceStrong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting, and financial statementsAbility to multitask and manage time effectivelyAdaptable, having the ability to transition between multiple projects / coverage sectors seamlesslyOutstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and superior written and oral communication skills (ability to relay critical issues to senior professionals concisely)Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical conductExperience with writing financial due diligence reports and constructing detailed financial modelsHighly motivated individuals that demonstrate a commitment to excellence in all tasks performedProficient level of MS Excel and PowerPointEducationMinimum Bachelor’s degree:Bachelor’s in Accounting for Audit or TaxRelated Business Degree for ConsultingExperience 8 plus years in accountingPublic accounting preferredLicense / Certification Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) designation preferredPublic accounting or other professional services environment preferredLegal / Compliance Must complete firm wide Non-Compete, Non Solicitation agreements or similar applicable documentsMust complete acknowledgement of Corporate Policy and Compliance ManualMust complete acknowledgement of Employee Manual documentMust complete acknowledgement of Independence Guidelines and Ethical Standards documentGovernment engagements require applying for and receiving a security clearance from the United States government.WHO WE AREREADY TO DELIVERWe take pride in our ability to combine local knowledge with national, regional, and international skills to provide you and your organization with the best resources possible.
