Role: Slalom Flex (Project Based) - Project Lead, Financial Modeling & Analysis

Location: Denver Metro Area, remote supporting MST working hours

What You'll Do
  • Understand the client's business challenges to craft effective solutions that address the needs of our clients to achieve their desired outcomes
  • Proactively identify risks and anticipated points of resistance; develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns
  • Work on projects independently, participate as a team member, or lead teams of consultants and/or clients during buildout
  • Day to day program management
  • Drive the primary outcome of every deliverable for the financial assessment
  • Scope management - establish and maintain project governance and cadence
  • Weekly status reports, communication, and RAID log updates
  • Collaborate with AE on initiation and personnel review
  • Lead kick-off meetings
  • Coordinate with team members to develop the project plan
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks early in the project
  • Submit work and communication plans
  • Revise work plan based on feedback
  • Develop detailed work plans with timelines and resource allocations
  • Adjust plans based on feedback from stakeholders and team members
  • Review draft reports and provide feedback
  • Present final reports to stakeholders
  • Confirm that the financial report meets all project requirements and quality standards
  • Prepare for and lead presentations to stakeholders

What You'll Bring
  • Minimum 5+ years of project management experience
  • Financial Modeling & Analysis experience - the ability to review current funding and expenditure of programs. Ability to seek to understand costs of program execution both upstream and downstream.
  • Public Sector Experience
  • Consulting experience - the ability to hit the ground running as a Project Lead
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with audiences of all levels including extensive presentation development and delivery
  • Facilitated effective decision making when differing opinions occur
  • Developed relationships with key stakeholders beyond direct teammates or clients

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the hourly pay range is $60 to $75/HR depending on experience. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
