Job Overview:
OEM Manufacturer of Environmental Compliance Equipment. Preference given to those with equipment building background in low volume, high mix environment. We use a seller/doer model so familiarity with proposals/estimating and delivery required. This is a customer facing position, experience with Business Development in a technical environment preferred.
This position will lead and support the LFG Specialties division of APTIM. Direct reports are Engineering Manager, Product Managers, Senior Project Manager, Production Manager, Service Managers, Materials Manager and Accounting. Dotted line to HSE and HR. Coordinate on projects with other APTIM divisions as needed.
Focus on the financials of the operation, starting with forecasting through the monthly operational budgeting and annual capital budget development. Recruiting, retaining, and training of engineering, project management, production and service areas will run through you. Continuously strengthen safety and environmental footprint to exceed corporate metrics. Work closely with Materials Manager to develop and support a standard outsourcing process and grow the vendor base to clarify the make versus buy decision process early in the engineering phase of projects. Maintain high level scheduling with project managers and develop the general schedule with the production manager, leaving the daily schedule to production manager. Weekly visibility in all areas is necessary.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, preference for Project or Construction Management, Industrial Technology, Applied Science, Quality Management, or other technical degrees that include business management in core classes.
5 years minimum management experience in manufacturing and engineering environment.
Excellent verbal, written and software skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse backgrounds in a team environment with limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Responsible for an annual sales goal and (CRM) soft goal. Experience in Salesforce or similar CRM software.
- Assist developing and implementing strategic market and executing business plan.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining internal and external relationships.
- Experience and confidence to grow business in a dynamic market environment.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to build, coach, and mentor collaborative teams.
- Excellent communication (written/verbal), strategic thinking, negotiation, presentation, and "people" skills.
- Participate in technical seminars and industry events presenting the company capabilities.
