Position Overview:
Our client seeks an experienced Systems Analyst 3 to lead the design, development, and implementation of a data integration hub. This role involves working within an agile environment to support ETL processes, data warehousing, and business intelligence solutions, with a significant focus on automation, cloud infrastructure, and performance metric validation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the implementation and configuration of infrastructure for the data integration hub.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including:
• Performance metric validation.
• Epic/User Story/Task creation.
• Data acquisition automation from various sources.
• Complex SQL script development.
• Testing, including integration, load, and stress testing.
• Internal and external data deployment.
• Support ongoing operations and enhancements for the data integration hub, including:
• ETL administration focused on data warehousing and business intelligence.
• Informatica IICS Administration (installation, upgrades, maintenance).
• Power Exchange Change Data Capture (CDC) on PowerCenter and IICS.
• CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins).
• Automation in administration using Python and shell scripting.
• Triage and resolve production issues.
• Design, develop, and deploy ETL pipelines using Informatica and IICS.
• Handle various data sources (relational databases, flat files, cloud platforms).
• Manage data quality, validation, and data migration projects.
Qualifications:
Required Experience
• 8+ years: ETL administration, Informatica IICS, Power Exchange CDC, cloud-based CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins), and automation using Python and shell scripting.
• 8+ years: Analytical skills for production issue resolution.
• 8+ years: ETL pipeline design, development, and deployment with Informatica and IICS.
• 8+ years: Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Snowflake), flat files, cloud platforms (AWS S3, Azure Blob), and data quality/migration projects.
• 8+ years: Linux/Unix experience, technical writing and diagramming (Visio, Erwin), Microsoft Office Suite, and MS Project.
• 8+ years: Agile methodology, experience with JIRA, team collaboration, and prioritization.
• 8+ years: Proficiency in SQL, Python, Bash, data warehousing, data quality frameworks, and cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Preferred Experience
• 6+ years: Software development using best practices.
• 4+ years: Understanding of security principles for healthcare data, data visualization/business intelligence.
• 4+ years: Communication skills, multi-responsibility management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years: Healthcare industry experience.
• 2+ years: HHS agency experience, PII/PHI data handling, and Azure familiarity.
