Logistics Analyst II

In support of Program Manager Combat Support Systems, we are seeking a Logistics Analyst II with experience in supporting DOD/Marine Corps acquisition logistics programs and life cycle management events; familiarization with acquisition logistics policy/principles, and interfacing with government principals.

The specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Develop, review, and update logistics planning and sustainment inputs to all required documents throughout the acquisition lifecycle using knowledge of the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements.
  • Draft life cycle logistics documentation in support of program milestones and other program events to include Fielding Plans, Single Acquisition Management Plans (SAMP), IUID Plans, Disposal Plans, Facilities Impact Reports, Depot Sources of Repair, and Naval Messages.
  • Assess the 14 areas of an Independent Logistics Assessment, and develop, review, and submit an ILA Report and Certification Memo.
  • Prepare, submit, and manage Table of Organization and Equipment Change Requests (TOECRs) for Table of Authorized Material Control Number (TAMCN) items.
  • Develop a Logistics Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Provide monthly reports tracking AAOs, equipment readiness levels, net asset posture, inventory in stock, inventory condition codes, and inventory purpose codes.
  • Pull reports, submit Service Requests and Tasks, and track open Service Requests within GCSS-MC.
  • Conduct Manpower, Personnel & Training (MP&T) analyses in accordance with the MCSC Manpower, Personnel, and Training Requirements Analysis Guide, to include drafting, reviewing, revising, and updating MP&T plans.
  • Create Logistics Requirements Funding Summaries (LRFS) using the Cost Estimating Tool (CET).
  • Observe and document Level of Repair Analyses (LORA) and draft, review, and revise LORA reports.
  • Develop draft Memorandums for the Record (MFRs), research Key Supporting Documents, track/compile quarterly reconciliations of the Consolidated Memorandum Report (CMR) and Custodian Asset Report (CAR), in accordance with MCSC property accountability functions and policies.
  • Deliver New Equipment Training (NET), student evaluation, and sustainment training in both Contiguous United States (CONUS) and Outside the Contiguous United States (OCONUS) locations, to include updating instructor guides, student outlines, programs of instruction, lesson plans, test material in accordance with NAVMC 1553.1A.
  • Draft and edit Stock Lists (SL-3), Technical Manuals (TM), Technical Instruction (TI), Modification Instructions (MI)'s, and Supply Instructions (SI).
  • Analyze technical data in support of Physical Configuration Audit (PCA), providing a report of comparisons between parts, drawings, and legacy reports.
  • Annotate status of Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP) in support of financial reconciliation.

Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Six (6) years of related progressive professional work experience in Life-Cycle Logistics planning and management with a minimum of four (4) years of experience in at least two directly related technological areas, including experience in all phases of logistics acquisition and logistics planning is preferred.
  • DAWIA accreditation in Life-Cycle Logistics preferred.
  • Specific/Preferred Requirements:
  • The applicant must possess working knowledge of DoD/USMC acquisition policies, as well as working knowledge of and access to various logistics tools: Global Combat Support System - Marine Corps (GCSS-MC), Total Force Structure Management System (TFSMS), Total Life Cycle Management - Operational Support Tool (TLCM-OST), Technical Data Management (TDM) - Catalyst, FedLog, WebFLIS
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite application
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to perform detail-oriented work under strict deadlines
  • Position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
