The National Security Sector at Leidos has an upcoming opening for an Intelligence Staff Officer/Exercise Support Specialist supporting the Air Mobility Command (AMC) at Scott AFB, IL. Candidates must currently possess a TS/SCI security clearance.

Job Summary:
The primary function of this task is to support and contribute to program management, monitoring, and support to AMC intelligence exercises.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide exercise planning and technical support to exercise, training, test, and readiness events on an ad hoc basis, typically five events quarterly.
  • Provide technical support, assistance, and advice on AMC intelligence exercise matters at the Service, Joint, and IC levels and
  • Assist, support, and contribute to improving MAJCOM organizational support structure and program management functions.
  • Identify, evaluate, and integrate applicable DoD, Service, and IC doctrine, TTPs into AMC and subordinate unit exercise development and training
  • Provide MAJCOM-level representation during drafting, review, edit, and staffing of intelligence policy and guidance documents related to the AMC exercise program.
  • Participate in, monitor, plan, and administer meetings, working groups, and other exercise planning forums to assist A2 in advocating, planning, and implementing MAJCOM, CAF, policy, doctrine, and TTPs
  • Ensure unit training objectives conform to AF and AMC exercise training objectives tied to mission-essential tasking list and training to proper standards.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree and 10+ years (or Master's and 8+ years) of USAF intelligence experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Previous exercise planning experience.
  • Must have solid knowledge and/or experience with USAF ISR capabilities and processes.
  • Must have a current TOP SECRET SCI Clearance.
  • Need experience with one or more of the following USAF ISR missions:
    • Unit-level intel (fighter/bomber).
    • AOC/ISRD.
    • ISR collection (GEOINT, SIGINT).

Desired Qualifications:
  • Staff experience at the NAF or MAJCOM level.
  • Familiarity with or experience attending RED FLAG.
  • Weapons School graduate.
  • Staff experience at the NAF or MAJCOM level.

Pay Range: Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
