Product Engineer Director, Content (Contract role)

As leader within ArtBot, the Product Engineer Director - Content, will work collaboratively with the VP and ECD to lead the the creative output for ArtBot. You are an expert hands-on artist; able to lead teams to conceive, execute, and deliver beautiful, thoughtful, and impactful solutions for our clients. You have worked as a leader in a creative setting, nurturing and developing creatives by example.
Please note this is a creative role, not a traditional engineering role.

Please note this is a creative role, not a traditional engineering role.
You have:
- 5-8 Years of Motion Design experience with 2 years in a senior role.
- Holds a degree in graphic design and/or a strong portfolio with proven experience with motion design.
- Proficiency with After Effects and Premiere is desired.
- A robust background with extensive experience in a client facing, creative leadership role in a digital agency environment.
- Recognized expertise in motion design, user-centered experience design, brand development, illustration-as well as new platforms and technologies for the digital channel and related media.
- Strong ability to provide clear creative direction, career path guidance and timely and helpful feedback to improve creative processes to keep work on budget and schedule.
- Proven leadership skills. We need people who are confident with everything from team building to mentoring to guiding large groups of creative talent.
- Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities at all levels of both internal and client organizations.
- Strong ability to prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short- and long-term need. Timelines, budgets, and availability change-we need someone who can adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment.
You Will:
- Manage the team, client, and company's expectations
- Concept and create motion assets and animation content
- Manage multiple projects and organize project folder structures
- Review, teach, and mentor novice, intermediate, and senior level artists
- Be an expert in your field with a multidisciplinary sense, who lifts up the teams creative confidence to provide the best creative execution
