Description
Leidos has an immediate need for a mid-level Project Manager to support the AEGIS contract at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) located Redstone Arsenal, AL. The AEGIS contract provides high quality integrated communications services for secure network, voice, video, and data solutions to NASA customers worldwide. Candidate will provide mid-level project management duties within the AEGIS Project Management Office (PMO).

The AEGIS contract provides high quality integrated communications services for secure network, voice, video, and data solutions to NASA customers worldwide. Candidate will provide mid-level project management duties within the AEGIS Project Management Office (PMO).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Project lifecycle fundamentals in project planning and definition, build and design, execution, testing, implementation, and closeout.
- Plan, monitor, and manage project tasks, timelines, milestones, and overall quality of project deliverables within a PMO.
- Create and manage project management plans, project schedules, requirement specifications, project risks, and other technical documentation utilizing Microsoft suite tools or other within the PMO.
- Develop solutions to problems and issues that are unclear and require analyses of domain knowledge.
- Assist PMO with development and management of project methodologies, processes, standards, and documentation templates.
- Assist PMO with required Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) documentation audits as needed.
- Interface frequently with customers, executive-level management , task and functional leaders, subcontractors, and/or support personnel on project progress, requirements, risks/constraints, schedule, and cost impacts .
- Perform weekly PMO administrative duties such as preparing reports, briefings, and presentations.
- Work independently to achieve and manage day-to-day project deliverables.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS or BA degree with minimum (4) years of related experience OR Masters with two (2) years of relevant experience.
- Able to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
- Software Development Lifecyle (SDLC) experience.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and stakeholder engagement (both oral and written).
- Computer literacy: Proficient in MS Suite Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project Professional.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Agile Scrum Certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library ( ITIL) certification
- Residence at or near NASA Center site location
